Volunteer Position: Accessibility Team
Help us meet AODA standards!
We're looking for volunteers to help us make our website and digital resources accessible to all our visitors. What does this mean?

Help us correct the captions on our YouTube videos;

Help us ensure all of the images on our website have appropriate alt text;

Help us review the text and documents on our website to make sure they meet AODA standards.
Commitment Levels
Volunteers can commit to a project (example: reviewing the captions on a single video) or can keep coming back to contribute to additional projects. Time commitment will vary.
All volunteers will be credited on the soon-to-launch accessibility page on our website.
Skills Required

Excellent communication and writing skills;

Reliable and organized;

Respect, patience, and courtesy with all staff and fellow volunteers;

Experience with YouTube, Adobe, or Wix platforms is an asset.
Training
Volunteers will be provided with instructions on the process relevant to their assigned project. Research training and support will be determined by the experience level of the volunteer.
