Meet the Team

Bri Gardner Ford (She/Her, They/Them)
Events and Communications Coordinator

Bri Gardner Ford is a Fashion Arts and Business student at Humber College. Born and raised in the Lakeshore area, she holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in political science from York University and has spent years working in the Lakeshore community to promote civic and political engagement and to increase access to housing and vital social and healthcare services.

Bri has worked with LAMP Community Health Centre to hold a number of community events including award ceremonies, wellness days, repair cafes and community dinners. She has a particular focus on creating deeply affordable housing in the Lakeshore as a founding member of the Lakeshore Affordable Housing Advocacy and Action Group and as an advisory committee member of the South Etobicoke Housing Affordability project.

Bri is a recipient of the Lieutenant Governor-General’s Community Service Award, an RBC INSPIRE Award, and a LAMP CHC Award of Merit. She is excited to continue to support the Lakeshore community through the work of the Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre.
