About the Exhibit

 

The Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre exhibit, In Your Hands, served as both a standalone exploration of the creativity and inspiration within the Lakeshore community and a compliment to the In Your Eyes community exhibition in our Third Floor Gallery space. The latter exhibition was a collaborative showcase featuring the works of 18 artists from the Etobicoke Lakeshore community, with each composition conveying how the Lakeshore Grounds has influenced their artistry and perspectives. The In Your Hands exhibit was meant to be an inspirational space for artistic and social engagement, where all community members could create works regardless of their artistic ability or experience.
