Meet the Team

Isabella Conte (she/her)
Assistant Curator

Isabella Conte is an emerging museum professional with a passion for local history and its power to connect us through shared community. She holds an Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree from Toronto Metropolitan University in Arts and Contemporary Studies, History Minor and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Museum Studies at the University of Toronto.  

 

She has helped to develop the youth arts engagement program Culture Dose for Kids at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, a program that uses artwork to improve young people’s mental health and foster conversations about self-confidence, mindfulness, and inclusion. Born and raised in Etobicoke, she joined the Interpretive Centre as a volunteer on the Collections Team, eventually being hired as a Research Assistant before becoming Assistant Curator.
