Queer Joy

A Celebration of Queer and Trans Artists

When faced with forces that seek to restrict, invalidate or erase their lives, queer joy is a radical act. Deployed fully, queer joy fosters accepting, healthy, and resilient communities.

Queer Joy especially celebrates Indigenous expressions, queer communities of colour, migrant 2SLGBTQIA+ communities,

trans, intersex, and disabled queer folks who navigate intersectional barriers in their everyday lives.

Meet the artists who answered the call to share their creative expression of “Queer Joy” in this show: Rojhin Taebi, Mitchie Ding,

Maddie Alexander, Dylon Fleming, and Raegen Montaque

In collaboration with the LGBTQ+ Resource Centre and the 2SLGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group.
